Bush Has Left Much For Obama to Handle

Tomorrow this country will say "Farewell" to President Bush as we usher in our 44th president, Barrack Obama.
Bush has left much on the President’s desk for Obama to handle. We’re in a war that we seem to not get out of, more American’s than ever are losing their homes, unemployment is at an all-time high, families are living on the streets, we are in the largest deficit this country has ever seen, and Bush’s “Midnight Hour” will be reeking havoc on this country for years to come concerning the environment , endangered species, workers exposure to toxins, the list goes on and on. The Times refers to it "So Little Time, So Much Damage". Bush's approval rating is the lowest for any president ...ever.
But to we want to hear about any of that stuff, apparently the television media doesn't think so,.. oh no.. we want to know what Michelle Obama will be wearing to the inauguration! Not only that but some media people spend a large amount of air time trying to predict which designer she'll end up choosing. I am really wondering too! Yes, this country is going to hell in a hand basket, I hope Michelle looks nice for the journey.

Ann Coulter vs Brian Eno (Roxy Music)

A friend sent me this, noting the similarities....
Now we know where Brian Eno has been hiding.

A CONTEST:The view of Ann Coulter on "The View"

Set aside that I suspect Ann Coulter cannot have children because she was,... well, a man. (I swear I can see an Adam's apple) Her opinion of single mothers ignited a real fire on "The View". Whoopi, SHerri and Joy had plenty to say in defense of us moms. Although, that isn't what I found humorous, Elizabeth looks elated that she isn't the one being attacked!

Read more here and watch the video.

Let's have a "fill in the bubble" contest. What is Elizabeth thinking? Come up with your best ...who knows if you make me laugh, you may get a PRIZE!

I'll start...

"Kick ass...at least it's not me this time."

Study Reveals That Away-Facing Strollers Cause Babies Stress

A study by Dundee School of Psychology in London, England found that children not facing the person pushing them are more likely to exhibit signs of stress. Suzanne Zeedyk, who led the research said that "Our data suggests that for many babies today, life in a buggy is emotionally impoverished and possibly stressful." (How does one tell if a baby is stressed from being pushed improperly or stressed from hunger or soiled diapers?)
Zeedyk added, "Stressed babies grow into anxious adults."

Do We All Need Help
Anxiety is an umbrella term covering panic, depression, and multiple anxiety disorders. Drugs like Paxil, Lexapro, Cimbalta, and Wellbutrin are some of the medications prescribed to approximately 18% of all adults for relief. My point being anyone over the age of 30 years old was more than likely pushed around in a stroller of this type, since that was the only kind available so are we all suffering. If Zeedyk's study is accurate, then there should be more adults seeking relief. Is it that we are a world of overly anxious citizens and too stupid to realize it or is it another ridiculous study? Perhaps there should be an aerial spraying of Prozac to help those adults, who as children were pushed in their strollers facing the wrong way. In any case, it is just one more thing for which we can blame our mothers.
